Bio

I am a Civil and Structural Engineer with a First Class Honours from Moi University. I also have a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Nairobi. I am in the process of undertaking my PhD studies and I am currently conducting my pilot study in Lavington. I hold down the position of Part-Time Lecturer at Kenyatta University and have previously worked as an Assistant Engineer before starting my Masters programme. My role as a lecturer over the past three years has developed my oral communication and interpersonal skills. It has also given me the ability to work under extreme pressure in order to meet deadlines. Working for Kenyatta University as a Tutorial fellow would give me an opportunity to develop my academic career as well as aid my personal development to ensure that I become an all-rounded individual and a fully-fledged lecturer.
